dc.description.abstractObjective: This study will evaluate the changes in the somatosensory temporal discrimination threshold (STDT) after focal muscle vibration. The hypothesis was that the STDT, which is related to the functions of basal ganglia and somatosensory cortex, would deteriorate during application of peripheral muscle vibration if it had indirect central effects.
