The Position and Effectiveness of Railway Border Gates to International Transportation of Turkey

Abstract

This study is focused on to examine the status of international railway transport of Turkey and in this context, it is aims to review the effectiveness of railway border gates in Turkey. In the study, the place of railway transportation in the general transport systems and its cross-border dimension are discussed in a historical perspective, and the problems in this area are examined.
