Abstract
The effects of single inhalations of 200 mcg protokylol HCl 200 mcg salbutamol and placebo on lung function tests were studied in 14 asthmatic patients participating in a single blind cross-over study. The results obtained with protokylol HCl were significantly superior to those with placebo and similar to those observed with salbutamol. Both active compounds were well tolerated.
