dc.description.abstractIn recent years, many researches were focused on alternative natural feed additives such as prebiotics and natural saccharitic materials for animal nutrition. Inulin is a prebiotic oligosaccharide fermented in the large intestine of host. In this review, the effects of inulin on gastrointestinal characteristics (microflora, morphology, feces characteristics etc.), growth and production performance, fat tissue, cholesterol and mineral absorption in poultries will be mentioned.
