| dc.description.abstract | In this study, quality of quartzite ore body located at Istanbul Yalikoy Region is determined by geostatistical methods. After analysis of 303 production blocks, reserve of ore is calculated as 3 560 400 tonnes. Then 82 borehole data were compared with this study results, using geostatistical methods. For the study, a blending model was developed to provide the specific ore to the glass industry. The model and geostatistical study results for a quartzite deposit were evaluated by newly developed software based on GIS and pre-blending model. | |
