dc.description.abstract	A number of 1-(3-phenyl-4(3H)-quinazolinone-2-ylmercaptoacetyl)-4-substituted thiosemicarbazide and 2-(3-phenyl-4(3H)-quinazolinone-2-ylmercaptoacetylhydrazone)-3-substituted 4-thiazolidone derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for anticonvulsant activity. Some of the tested compounds showed significant activity against MES and ScMet induced seizures.
