dc.description.abstractThe pit-prop beetle, Hexarthrum exiguum (Boheman), is reported for the first time from Turkey where a population was found colonizing skirting boards (baseboards) in Istanbul. The feeding of adults and larvae caused the skirting boards to disintegrate.
