The Role of Forest Typology for Conservation of Species and Biological Diversity in Forest Management Activities

In this study, the use of forest typology in the conservation of biological diversity has been analyzed using the results of phytosociological research, which was performed in the Bentler region of Belgrad forests belonging to the Bahçeköy Forest Administration. The theme and starting point of this study, on the other hand, is to correlate the natural functions and biological diversity of the forest with the actual and potential structures of the forest ecosystems. Thus, the scientific contributions of other forestry sciences may form the basis of and provide guidance for the Forest Management Planning by means of forest ecology in biological diversity and functions.
