E: Residual renal function (RRF) is an important predictor of patient and dialysis technique survival in both hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD). Although there have been some studies conducted recently about the relationship between RRF and standard or biocompatible PD solutions; results are conflicting. Therefore, we aimed to conduct a prospective observational study comparing patients using standard PD solutions with those using biocompatible ones in terms of RRF.
