Kontseptualizatsiya Obrazu Çornobylya v Ukrayınskiy Dokumentalniy Literaturi: Postanovka Lingvistyçnoyı Problemy

Abstract

The Chornobyl catastrophe significantly affected the formation of both Ukrainian and global public consciousness. This was facilitated not only by the facts of apocalyptic reality, but also by numerous texts, primarily documentary (non-fiction literature), which presented factual material in the emotions and assessments of eyewitnesses, journalists and writers. As a result, in the collective consciousness of each nationits own concept of “Chornobyl” has been formed. Key words: Chornobyl, public consciousness, concept, non-fiction literature.
