Fluconazole inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis and this deficiency prevents fungal growth by disrupting the structure of the fungal cell membrane. 3 42 genes that were fully sensitive and 33 genes that were semi-sensitive to 50 µg/ml fluconazole, 11 genes sensitive to 25 µg/ml and 3 genes sensitive to 10 µg/ml fluconazole were identified. Three common genes were identified that were sensitive to all three doses; rpl2301, rps2201 and pho7. These genes were found to play a major role in protein synthesis. As a result of Table 1, it was determined that the biological processes of the determined genes showed high diversity and the lethal effect of fluconazole on cells was not dependent on a single mechanism, and as a result of Table 2, the lethal activity of fluconazole was closely related to the binding processes in the cell.
