SOME NOTES ON HUNNISH GUZANG CITY OF GANSU CORRIDOR

Abstract

Wuwei is one of the ancient Turkic lands which on the road reaching to Eastern Turkistan and in the middle of People's Republic of China. Huns founded a city named Guzang (Gaizang in Hun language) in second century BC. This strategic city was aim in dominance struggles and passed into the hands of different powers. There will be analyses about this important city for contributing to history and geographical history studies about the region.
