dc.description.abstract | Even tough, in theoretical framework, the different kinds and forms of storytelling in digital media have been called with various names, today we have one thing which is absolutely clear and certain that the "new media" forms, like the "old medias", reflects always their own ages' and society's political and social history and the ideological concepts of these. The leading notion which has left its mark on these concepts, during recent centuries, is the "East and West Opinion Dichotomy" context. This dilemma, founded on the Aristotelian "eighter or..."dialectic that the western metaphysical philosophy tradition has been constructed on. In this context, our work is discussing with discourse analysis, the purposes and the content of the Aristotelian dialectic and dramatic worlds and their relations with "cinema" which is actually the previous age's new media form over the actual examples of digital media like video games. | |
