dc.description.abstractSoma, which is located in the province Manisa and the Bakircay Basin, is one of the prominent cities of the region due to its various features. As for population, Soma has the highest population among the other cities (Soma, Bergama, Kirkagac, Kinik, Dikili ve Savastepe) in the Bakircay Basin. Soma as a mining town attracts attention with its fast-developing industrial activities, which is the cause of the increase in the population and correspondingly gives birth to various urban activities.
