An Investigation in Terms of Population Geography: Beypazari

Abstract

In this study, the population of Beypazari district is examined under the geographical point of view. To reveal the mutual relations of the population with its space geology, topography and soil maps, and meteorological station data of Beypazari were used. The results of the census conducted between 1927 and 2011 were used as basic data. Based on these data, the change of the population over the years, spatial distribution, density, age and sex structure, population movements (migrations), rural and urban characteristics are put forth, obtained results were evaluated with the help of tables and figures.
