Malignant bone and soft tissue tumors are rare diseases that commonly require complex reconstruction following wide resection. The reconstruction may be biologic or non-biologic (endoprosthetic). Each has its own advantages and disadvantages and has some common and unique complications. Implant failure, loosening, and infection are the major complications in the endoprosthetic reconstructions group. This chapter focuses on cases of endoprosthetic reconstructions and the encountered complications, as well as their management.
