Epidemiology of gynecologic cancers in Cerrahpasa Medical School Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A sixty year survey

Abstract

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Cerrahpasa Medical School is the first clinic which was established in 1892 in Turkey. The gynecologic pathology section is also completely operational since 1924. Archives of the gynecologic pathology is dating back to 1940s. The purpose of this study was to analyze the archive of gynecologic cancers since 1940. Therefore, we evaluated the epidemiologic nature of the 5375 cases of gynecologic cancer.
