dc.description.abstractBoth lingual tonsil and adenoid are the lymphoid tissue members of Waldeyer ring. Enlargement of the lingual tonsil and adenoid occurs in children with persistent obstructive sleep apnea despite previous tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy relatively frequently.
