A rare case of massive gastrointestinal bleeding
Abstract
Pseudoxanthoma elasticum is a systemic connective tissue disorder is characterized by progressive calcification and degeneration in elastic fibrils. The gastrointestinal bleeding is the second most common sign following the retinal hemorrhage. Herein, we report the first case of pseudoxanthoma elasticum with both upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding.
