Objective: Varicella zoster is often a self-limiting infectious disease in previously healthy children, though; it rarely can cause serious complications and even mortality. Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV) vaccination has been applied at the age of 12 months according to national vaccination schedule since 2013. The aim of this study was to evaluate the complications and hospitalization rates of varicella infection after national vaccination program.
