dc.description.abstractReaction of aldehyde-hydrazones or semicarbazones bearing an imidazo[2,1-b] [1,3]thiazole ring system with mercaptoalkanoic acids were investigated. Antimycobacterial activities of compounds thus obtained were evaluated against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv using rifampine as standard.
