dc.description.abstractThirtynine cases of human cryptococcosis were reported in Turkey in fifty years. The number of case reports was remarkably increased after 1991. Nine cases was associated with HIV infection. For cases of cryptococcosis, overall, the majority of patients presented with CNS infections (73.2%, 30/41) and masculine predominance (58.5%, 24/41) and respectively high mortality (43.9%, 18/41) was evident in all patients.
