dc.description.abstractThe isobaric vapour-liquid equilibrium (VLE) for mixtures of cyclohexanol-phenylmethanol were investigated at 101.3 +/- 0.067 kPa. Thermodynamic consistency of data was tested via Herington analysis. The experimental VLE data were reduced and binary parameters for five activity coefficient models, such as NRTL, LEMF, UNIQUAC, modified UNIQUAC and SEMAC, were fitted. A comparison of model performances was made using the criterion of root mean square of relative deviation.
