Abstract
Prevention of carcinogenesis is one of the major strategies for cancer control. Many recent studies have shown the inhibitory effects of the green tea, black tea. and tea polyphenol preparations on the carcinogenesis in the skin, stomach, duodenum, colon, liver, lung and pancreas in several rodent models (Agarwal et al., 1992; Fujiki et al., 1998).
